The reviews provided are based on the experience that we encountered on one or more visits. They are entirely our own opinion. Our intention is for others to share our good experiences, we are not here to crucify restaurateurs. Edinburgh has many restaurants to choose from, we hope our reviews make you better informed to make those choices.
Rating Restaurants:
All reviews are marked out of 4 green apples
. 1 being poor, 2 average, 3 good and 4
excellent. The whole experience is taken into account when
rating a restaurant. We also try to give a feel for price
by marking each out of 4 £ signs. The price markings
are roughly based on a per head basis for food and
wine/drinks:£0 - £20 = £
£20 - £40 = ££
£40 - £60 = £££
£60+ = ££££
